With some impressive cinematography and an intriguing plot line, this cult classic manages to stay on our minds like a memory we just can't erase! But the idea itself is interesting, the social critique about police corruption and racism is interesting and the final result is, overall, a very entertaining movie. Many things are dated and some scenes are kinda slow but it's worth a watch. Angela Bassett's character is absolutely iconic and Juliette Lewis gives one of the best musical performance I've ever heard (her PJ Harvey's song cover is seriously amazing).
