   Start a new game of BitLife. For the best odds of succeeding as an actor, make a character that has high smarts and looks.

   • Consider having your character be born in Monaco, as in Bitlife, Monaco has few taxes and higher wages, which means you're more likely to make and retain money.^[1]

   Maintain a good relationship with your parents and enroll in acting classes as soon as you are 8. You can try to sign up for acting classes through the Mind and Body tab, but this will require your parents approval.

   Max out your acting skill. Before graduating high school, max out your acting skill by returning to the Mind and Body tab and selecting your acting class.

   • You can repeat this step multiple times per year, so it is possible to max out your acting stat before graduating.

   Find a talent agent after graduating high school. Once you've graduated, you should hire a talent agent. Talent agents can be found by clicking Job, then Special Careers, then Actor.

   • Keep in mind that it is hard to sign with an agent early on, so it might not happen immediately upon turning 18.
   • If you are unable to find an agent, apply for jobs as an extra. This will get you some money while getting you on the path towards being an actor.

   Audition for roles. If you have an agent, they can help you negotiate for higher pay with acting roles. If you have a green Your Fit bar, it means you fit the description and your chances are higher.

   • Television roles can be a good way to make money, as you get paid per episode. Some television roles will pay over $1 million per season.
   • You may need to take lower-paying roles early on.

   Once you have unlocked Fame, join social media. YouTube and Instagram are good options, but most social media platforms on BitLife will let you generate extra revenue.^[2]

   • Post on your social media sites until you have 100,000 followers. Once you have passed this threshold, get verified on Instagram and monetize your YouTube channel.
   • Post promotions on social media. Once you are popular enough on your social media sites, you can get promotions that pay up to $1 million per post.

   Star in commercials. You won't get paid much at the start, but as you get more and more famous you can get paid over $3 million per commercial.

   • You can also do photoshoots for extra money, but they don't pay as much as commercials. Many photoshoots are adult in nature and may get your character into trouble with their spouse or parents, however.

   Once you have over $35 million, consider buying properties. You can buy properties by going to the Assets menu and selecting Go Shopping… at the bottom of the screen. These properties will gain value as they get older and can be sold later for a big profit.^[3]

   • Look to buy properties in the best condition possible. This will make them easier to sell down the line.
   • If you don't sell your properties right away, make sure to do upkeep on them to increase profit when you're ready to sell.

   Continue monitoring your net worth. If you go to the Assets menu and select Finances, all of your money and investments will be shown here. This can be a good way to make sure you're on the right track towards hitting $1 billion.

    Consider having a child as a backup plan. If you want to have a backup plan in case your character dies young or isn't able to continue making money, having an heir can make it so you don't have to start over from scratch.

    • If you want to go this route, have only one child. You can have your character have their child with a spouse if you want, but to maximise net worth, get divorced from them so all of your assets can go to your child exclusively without damaging your relationship with your partner.

   Start as a member of the royal family. You should start in Monaco again, but this time re-roll your character until the game randomly generates a character that is in the royal family.

   • This character will have a significant boost in net worth due to their status, and should get a large inheritance when their parents pass away.
   • If you pay for BitLife's Godmode premium service, you can create a member of the royal family from the character creation screen without having to wait for it to happen randomly.

   Play out your character's life. While your starting net worth and inheritance might be enough to push your character's worth over $1 billion, you can always make money in other ways to ensure you will hit your goal.

   • While this method may actually take a while because you have to hope one character will be made a member of the royal family, actually obtaining $1 billion will be much quicker this way than if you use the reliable method.

   Try to win the lottery. You could get lucky and win the lottery if you buy tickets, but as this is purely up to chance it could be a risky method, especially if you are just starting out and don't have a lot of money to spare.

   Invest your money. There is an entire section of the game devoted to investing your money in stocks, bonds, and more. You can view all the ways to invest by going to Assets and clicking Investments. This method is a bit complicated as it requires a general understanding of how these investment options work in real life.

   • You can hire a financial advisor to make investment choices for you if you prefer.

   Try to get rich by gambling. While it's not a guarantee, you could get lucky and make a lot of money by gambling. There is also the chance you could lose it all, though, so be aware that this method has a high risk of failing.

   • You can gamble by selecting the Casino menu under Activities. The game will ask for your bets and will initiate a game of Blackjack.
   • You can also go to the horse races if you prefer. Simply select the Horse Races menu under Activities and select a horse to bet on in the race.

   Play risky with crime. There are a number of criminal activities you can do in BitLife, and some could net your character a lot of money. While there is always a chance of success with this method, it's also super risky since your character could get caught and sent to jail.

   • Joining a mafia organization has great financial perks for your character, but at risk to their safety and life.

   Get money from other people. If your character has rich relatives or friends, you might be able to get some money by asking them for it. This has a good chance of spoiling the relationship, however, especially if you do it too often.
